On Cue Home Ltd ("On Cue", "we", "us") provides Apple smart home installation and support services. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it — whether you're visiting our website, using the On Cue Home app, or getting in touch directly.

Who we are

On Cue Home Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17448621), registered office at 38 Royal Esplanade Margate CT9 5EJ. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

  • When you register in the On Cue Home app: your name, email address, and mobile number.

  • When you contact us by email or phone: whatever you tell us — typically your name, contact details, and the nature of your enquiry.

  • When you visit our website: a small amount of technical data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy for the specifics).

We don't collect payment details, home addresses, or details about your specific smart home devices through the app or website themselves.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

  • Responding to support requests and enquiries using your name, email, and phone, on the basis of legitimate interest (you've asked us to help).

  • Arranging a consultation or providing our services under contract using your name, email, and phone, on the basis of performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.

  • Basic website functioning and (if enabled) analytics using cookies, on the basis of consent, where required (see our Cookie Policy).

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We share it only where necessary to run our business:

  • Squarespace — hosts our website and processes basic visitor data on our behalf.

  • Salesforce — used internally to manage support requests and client records.

  • We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an active account or client relationship with us, and for up to 7 years afterward for our own record-keeping and legal obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data

  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal reasons we may need to keep it)

  • Object to or restrict how we use your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we're relying on

To exercise any of these, email hello@oncuehome.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

Deleting your data from the app

You can remove your registered name, email, and phone number from the On Cue Home app at any time via My Profile → Log Out, which deletes this information from your device immediately.
